Start off today’s update by reminding everyone of the Jack and Jill for Shannon and I this Saturday night (Aug23) from 7pm till 1am at the Jarvis Community Center in Jarvis. (From #6 highway south, through Caledonia, through Hagersville. First left after the stop lights in Jarvis). Tickets are available at the door, or if you want them early, at the Beer Store in Hagersville or at my Parents place. Hoping it will be a good turn out. Come one, come all. Bring your friends!

Next off, we are at ~17days till the wedding. Holy shit 😉 . Coming up fast. Shannon and I have been busy trying to finish getting all the stuff in order for the big day. Lots of little things to do. Luckily, due to the power restrictions, Shannon has been put on half days, which gives her some flexibility to get some of the things done. Not easy to prepare when we both work same hours as most stores. We will get there though.

FINALLY For those of you who still want to see my new truck pics, i got some for you to see. Again, sorry, but bad pics. Not so much bad pics, but more “dirty truck”. I’m aiming to give it some lovin’ this weekend. and detail it all up for the J&J. Latest updates on it (since last pictures): 4/6 drop kit replaced the old 2/4 kit. Street Scene sport mirrors, some new Carwear clear corner lights up front. and 245/40 rubber for the front tires to accommodate for the now lower stance. Also, an installed but unpainted Checkmate flush mounted toneau cover which hides my nicely laid BedRug carpet kit. The old girl is coming together. Front end needs some smoothing and painting and maybe some bags, but that won’t be for a while. BTW, the big’ 4×4 next to me belongs to Mr. Ian. . Makes my truck feel short. I love it.

No bug updates yet again. Poor girls gonna think I have abandoned her. Even though the fact is money and time to get it done for the wedding ran out, so its been put on the back burners. I’m really hoping I can persuade Alex into finishing the last bit of welding in the next few weeks, so I can Hopefully get it into the body shop this winter to get the paint put down on it. Would really like to see it road ready for next spring. Shannon and I need something to go out for our 1 year anniversary in 🙂
