Welcome back sports fans. Been 9 days since the springs went on and man do I love the feel. She’s low, but not too low that I’m scraping on stuff. Gonna be a bit of a snow plow come winter on those days we get lots of snow, but due to the weight of my fat ride, that shouldn’t be an issue once I toss on some snow tires.
Went to see Shone up at Car Craze in Nelles Corners today about getting the alignment done and also to get my muffler remove and a straight pipe installed. This guy does some fantastic work. The car sounds awesome. Not too loud, but has a nice low rumble to it now and the sound of the turbo whine comes through ever so slightly. I love it. Once I get the rear valance for Shannons Jetta, she too will be going to visit Shone.
Speaking of which, if you need any maintenance or performance work (especially great for custom work), go see Shone Foster at Car Craze. He owns the place. Tell him Jamie with the black TDI sent you. He will help you out with anything you could need with a great price. He is on the Old Fess’ garage at Nelles corners (Corner of #3 highway and Indian line). Monday to Friday 8-6 and Saturday 8-noon. All the latest equipment and diagnostics. Does everything from rim and wheels to custom headers, exhaust systems and turbo upgrades. From what I gather, you name it he does it. Except for paint/body work. Damn it 🙂
I forgot to post about last weekend. I’ve been slacking off really badly. Last Saturday was Fisherville Funday. As most of you know, my whole family goes to Aunt Val and Uncle Bretts for fun and food and also to celebrate my Grandma Armstrongs birthday. This year was as fun as always. Except I think I over did it on the weight machine. Done ignore weights for 3 years and sit down and cold and try to butterfly nearly the entire stack. I did it. Mind you think I broke a tit in the process 🙂 Happy Birthday Grandma, and Thanks Wilson’s for a great time!
Going tonight to the legion for a birthday party for Grandma as well. Should be fun! If I have the energy, I will post more later
