Mr. Hanky, the Christmas Poo, he loves me..

Ya, it’s been a while.. Christmas has come and gone, and was excellent as always. Everyone was spoiled (especially Abigail). We did the normal rounds over the holidays and had an excellent time at each location. Thanks to everyone who hosted Christmas festivities again this year! Spending time with the family really is what the holidays are all about.

Some automotive updates.. My sister Katie had a bit of a wreck over the holidays. Thankfully she is fine aside from some nagging back problems. Her 02′ Beetle on the other hand gave its life to save hers. After some going back and forth with the insurance company, and much internet shopping, she ended up picking up an 03′ TDI Beetle in navy blue. Very good condition and a great engine to boot….

Katie wasn’t the only one to get a new car over the holidays. I also picked up a new toy. Slightly ahead of my February/March schedule, but it was too good of a deal to pass up. It is an 03′ Subaru Impreza WRX sedan. Black exterior (with a hint of blue metallic), 5 speed and AWD. To say this car was made for the snow would be the understatement of the year. I bought the car from the original owner, who had every single receipt for it since day 1 with the exception of gas receipts. Condition wise i would give it an 8.5 inside and out. The outside could be a 9+ with a good polishing and buffing. So far, I’ve put the stereo in and started planning future upgrades 🙂 227hp just isn’t enough 🙂

Not only have I been tardy with the updates, but also with pictures. I will be updating those in the next week or so as well.
