Bugs Palace!

Got all my parts, and got them installed. Truck now has a 4/6 drop, sport mirrors, bedrug and a straight role pan :-). Will be putting the new (non leaking) clear corners in tomorrow. Also gotta get an alignment done and put some new tires on up front as the current 20 rubber wont fit up front. The rubber may be here this weekend. Will know tomorrow. It looks great. Hella low. Already scraped a bit testing my limits on some monster speed bumps. Hell those ones made my Nissan and cavalier scrape at stock height. I never go over them so I’m not worried. I can get in and out of my townhouse complex no problem, and those ones are about an average size speed bump. Just gotta take it easy when going over them.

Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures before the sun went down. I was too busy putting in the rug and mirrors with the help of Alex. Bed is super comfy. Laid in it for a while tonight. Pictures up tomorow, even if its still running the 16″ tires in front 😉

Wedding stuff: not too much to report here. Going to look at cakes and finalize flowers tomorrow. 37 days and counting. Ok, I’m almost thinking about starting to freak out. How can something you look so forward to be so nerve racking at the same time? I have no problem (and frankly very much looking forward to) spending the rest of my life with Shannon. Why is this one day so scary? Its just a day; right?

In case I forget or don’t have a chance to post this Friday night, Happy Birthday Pookie. Sucks not being a teenie-bopper anymore. Have to grow up and stuff. Mom and Dad had a great party for her last weekend even with the rain. Was lots of fun. Unfortunately yours truely forgot his bloody camera at home, so no pictures. Sorry.

I am FINALLY in the good books with the income tax people. Got all my bills paid off and I’m starting to run up some new ones. Man I hate money. But I love stuff 😉 Shannon and I didn’t even let our Brick card cool down. Paid off the bill in the morning, and went out and bought a new bed at long last. Bonus is, it comes with a free 27″ TV. Score one for me. Picked up an expressvu receiver for it on the way home that night. So hopefully will have the dish running in the bedroom by the weekend. Bed and TV should show up during the day on Saturday. Can’t wait. I feel like it has been years since I had a decent nights sleep. Wait. It has ;-.

Started picking up/ordering some of the final mods I want to do to my truck. Lower suspension, bed rug, new lid, some painting/shaving. Hopefully have it all done this summer. Don’t know if the paint/shaving will be done but the rest shouldn’t be a problem. Bed rug was picked up today. Rest should be here in the next week. Finally my vision of the truck is gonna be complete. (or damned close!). I really wanted the truck AND the Bug done for the wedding. Since the Bug isn’t gonna happen, I’m gonna push to get the truck done. At least as much as possible. Wish me luck. And Yes, pictures are sure to come.

Wow. Two days, two posts. Tried to pay the bills off today, but CIBC wouldn’t let me. Why the hell don’t all banks have Saturday hours? Like, some people WORK through out the week, and cann come in 9-4 each day, and would like to come to the bank on Saturday morning to do, I don’t know…. Banking?!! They bitch and complain cause the “bank machines” are taking jobs away from them, yet the MACHINES are the only ones there for you when you need them. The sooner ALL banking can be done from the ATM, the better in my opinion. /end rant.

Went to London today with Shannon for the 2003 Canadian Truck Show. GOOD SHOW. All kinds of stuff. And of course, I got LOTS OF PICTURES. However, this will hopefully be one of my last shows with my camera. It just doesn’t perform like I want it to, so I’m actively going to look for a new one, and hopefully pay for it using Shannon’s PC purchase plan. Sorry for the quality of many of the shots. All in all it was a good show. My only complaint is NO 99+ Chevy trucks. Naughty. Zero. Zilch. How’s a boy supposed to see his dreams if they don’t come to the shows. I should live in Texas. They have real  shows down there 😉 

I’m beat. Odds are there will be another post tomorrow night, and possibly Monday. I’m in a posting mood, and I have lots to talk about.  Till tomorrow night, I bid you piss off 😉
