Bugs Palace!

Not much to say. Spent more money this month then we should have, but its all good. New couches (2xleather) coming on Saturday, got Shannon some clear corners for her blazer to match my truck, and also ordered my cowl induction hood which should be here no later then September 11. I cant wait to get it painted and installed. Gonna look sweet. Just a set of rims and rubber away from being “done”. Well.. Most of its done. there is always something to do. Should have gotten the licence plates NVRDONE.  Still wouldnt mind a 4/6 drop. But cant see that happening anytime soon. Im happy with the 2/4. Will see what wheels i end up with and if its possible to go lower. Be a pain in the neck going lower if the wheels stick out past the fenders. Hard to tuck around wheels 🙂

Blah blah blah.. What a summer. So much for a “slow” summer.  It wouldnt be to bad if all the labs in all the classrooms i have to work in weren’t disconnected, but well. they are.. So tag on 2-3 hours per school and watch time fly by with little work feeling like its being done.

Truck update.. Low and slow still running good, aside from small allignment problems. I had it done once, but she still pulls pretty hard to the right, and looks like the tires a slowly but surely getting smoothed 🙁   . That and i have a crazy squeak coming from up front. Going to try and get it alligned again and look for that squeak this weekend. IF i cant get this thing to allign properlly im gonna scream. Followed by put back to stock (for now) and sell of the parts. Good thing is, i will likely get exactly what i paid for them back which is good. Just out price of labour. (ouch).. I would hate to put it up now, but i cant justify being low if i eat a pair of tires every few months. Not good economics if you ask me. I hate to say it, but looks like X may have been right. Maybe i should have swung the other way….

Well with summer half over and school coming up soon, I’m a little bit busy these days. 12 Schools to do, and only 2 months to do them in. At first I thought “how could this take the whole summer”.. now I know.   

Puppies got fixed on Friday 🙁 .. Poor little babies are a wee bit sore this week. Both all stitched up and stuff. Very sad to see them that way, but now no worries of extra puppies coming around by surprise. Also Friday night, I took Shannon to see the Lion King play in Toronto. It was fantastic. We both had a great time. I highly recommend the play to everyone.

What else?  I applied for a new loan (whoopee) to move my truck loan to another bank and also cover the lovely income tax which still hangs over my head like a dark cloud. Nice thing is if this loan goes through, all the money I had saved for income tax goes back into my slush fund (i.e.: toys et al). I have a certain purchase for Shannon which will be made first off, and likely a couch at end of summer time. But whatever’s left will be put in the bank for other things.

Now the question is: Do I buy the hood now, and the seadoo in the winter months when they are cheaper seeing as the summer is half over anyways; or do I pay too much for the seadoo now, and hope the paint sticks to the new hood when I get IT in the winter. I think the choice is obvious. Just gotta make sure I get the sea-doo before Xmas, so I can throw wet-suit and hidden hitch on my Christmas list 😉
