Less then three weeks to go until Christmas. 20 Days in fact. Shannon and I have finished up quite a bit of shopping in the last week. Only really hard part is going to be figuring out what to get my wife. I have lots of ideas, but need to decide on what items. Cause I’m afraid I don’t have an unlimited budget. Last weekend, Shannon, Adam and I spent several hours putting up our Christmas lights. Place looks pretty damned sweet if I say so myself. At this rate, i figure 5 more years and I will have as many lights as Clark Griswald.

MINI Updates: My little snow mobile is back on its winter shoes. Hopefully I can get my new lower control arms in this week, and get my wheel alignment back into check. I’m not to keen on the way my rear summer tires wore. Control arms should solve the camber issue.

Beetle Updates: Body work is 100% done now. Spoke with Paul last Thursday. Had he not had to work on the weekend, the car would have been painted by now. It’s now looking like this coming weekend will be the time. Providing he doesn’t get called into work again. Cross your fingers. With any luck, my next post will be a woohoo post. 

Lastly, Kev and Ash moved into their new home on the weekend. Kevin and I spent the day Saturday lugging around a washer/dryer/fridge, and then again on Sunday with the help of some others to move the rest of their stuff in. House is really nice place, down the mountain in Hamilton.

Well, the end of October came and went, and sadly the beetle didn’t recieve its long awaited paint job. Paul was busy with some family stuff, and is now getting slammed at work again. At this point, I don’t know when he will be able to get it sprayed. At this point, I’m hoping it’s a Christmas present.

Since the bug hasn’t been finsihed, I’ve kept myself busy working on the MINI. I’ve actually got alot of little things done. New amp installed for my sub. Lets just say the sub is much happier with 400watts then it was with 60watts. Also, Kevin was able to resurrect my old Fusion amp. Bumping up the front and rear channels to nearly 100watts from their old 35watts they were getting previously. System sounds fantastic. Also, while working on the stereo system, I also mounted and wired in my C.B. Radio. No, I’m not becoming a trucker, but the ability for short distance radio is going to be handy for road trips and commutes with friends down the highway. Oh, and of course a little snow boggin’ this winter with Mr. Fahey.  Providing he gets his C.B. back in the car.

Speaking of Kevin; Its official. He and Ashleigh have bought a new home together. I have only seen one pic so far, but looks good! Very happy for you guys. Let me know when the move date is, and I will make sure to rest up the night before 🙂 

Lastly, my new shed is nearing completion. It looks awesome out there. Gonna be so nice to have another 200sq feet of storage. I will finally be able to clean out my garage and basement. Thanks Dad!
