Well, some small changes to mention. Finally got some pictures of the new hood up. Damn what a pretty truck. Bug is finally gone in for the floors. Regrettably it also needs the heater channels replaced which is quite extensive work. 2500 parts and labour later, i will have my car back. However in much better structural condition. Hopefully have the car back by beginning of December so i can begin sanding. Then i only need around 1000-1500 worth of parts + paint and we good to go. *only*..

As of last week, Shannon and I made the decision to drop the evil southmounts internet service. (Overpriced pricks). Now have a Bell ExpressVU dish (installed with some help from Mr. Alex), and should be going live with DSL internet tomorrow, providing Bell can keep to at least one of their time promises.

Thats it for the night. Sleep

I finally did it. After 3 years  (on out 3rd anniversary in fact), I  finally asked Shannon to marry me.  And lucky for me, she said YES! It was very romantic if i do say so myself. Out in the pumpkin patch at Linley Farm outside of Ancaster.  I am soo happy. Defiantly a good thanksgiving. More information to come on the wedding. I will post a link on the left side of this page when i get a chance which will have all the information and dates and stuff you could ever want.  Much has already been planned. (we been thinking  about this for a while, just finally official. Much to Shannon’s surprise!)

Sunday was our Thanksgiving dinners. Pictures of my families to come soon. Watch HERE for updates. Thank you Aunt Val and Uncle Brett for the great gobble gobble and ALL the pictures. Man i was a cute kid 🙂

Demolition derby was as cold as ever, but still a good show. Especially the seek and destroy kill the one car did to finish off the 2nd place guys tire in heat #2.

And as promised, pictures of my new hood and Shannon  headlights  are STILL coming. As soon as i get a chance to wash the truck, i will post some pictures. Until then, just wait.

Bug mishap. Driving down the road to find out no one put a cotter pin in the one wheel. Tire when one way, car the other. Luckily the bug and I are all right. Bug is going to the doctors next week for a checkup and the get the floors replaced. Hopefully it wont break the bank too badly. Hood has been painted and put on. Looks bloody sweet. Truck is now DONE with the exception of some new shoes. (rims and rubber). But that has been put on hold for a couple years until i get the bug done. Besides, i like the wheels which are on it, and I don’t want to spend any money on wheels till I decide whether to keep the truck rollin’ low, or to jack it up. Either way, it be a while before anything else is done.

Bug restoration is coming along slowly. With thanks to Dad, Alex and Adam. Adam just seems to “show up” right when im ready to pull the beast apart and is always willing to help with the demolition of parts; such as gutting rotten carpet and beating seats into submission. And a huge thanks to Dad for letting me use his driveway/garage during this time of restoration and also for helping out anyway he can; And to Alex for also doing anything he can to help get things done, and giving me some knowledge as we go so I can do some of this stuff for myself 🙂 .. (And the fact that he is letting me leach parts off of his floorless bug is also very very appreciated, and will be compensated as time goes on 🙂   ).

Restoration pics are updated regularly. Truck picks / couch picks / house pics will come along eventually.
