Bugs Palace!

My truck is under the knife getting some cosmetic work done.

• Tailgate handle shaved off
• Rollpan painted and installed
• Tonneau cover painted
• Front bumper cap – smoothed and painted to match
• Plastic around grill shell smoothed and painted to match
• All badges and stickers removed from sides
• A couple small blemishes being fixed
• Smoothed/painted handles (already done, just need installing)
• Smoothed/painted mirrors (already done, just need installing).

Once its home (sometime next week), I’m going to have the front windows tinted to match the rear three, installing my Bedrug, new tail lights and clear corner front lights. I can’t wait to see it all together. Gonna look like a different truck. Then all that’s left is suspension and wheels.

Happy 5 month birthday Abby!  Today marks 5 months of being a Daddy. I can honestly say its the one job I look forward too doing each morning when I wake up.  Love you Monkey

Truck updates: Pretty much all my parts are either ordered or have been delivered. After a major re-organization, the truck *snuggly* fits in the garage. It is so tight, that the rear bumper is resting against the back wall, while the garage door is kissing my front bumper. Ya, it’s that tight :).  I have started my stereo install, as the truck will be staying in the garage till the end of the month *at least*.  By the end of the weekend, I hope to have all the power, rcas, speakerwire, sirius/ipod and cb antenna ran. If time allows, I will also be soldering up the harness for the cd player as well.

Lastly, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to put anything on my site about this, but i’ve decided that I should. Last week, her her 91st year, my Grandma passed away. It was a very sad and difficult time. The only upsides I can see are that she led a long and full life, and passed on with little or no pain.  Rest In Peace Grandma, we love you and you will be missed.

Truck is offically legal. Plates are on, insurance is paid and its officially Canadian.
