Ya, I suck. No updates in over a month.  Do I even remember what has gone on this month? Not really.

Shannon’s family came over for a barbeque mid September. I think things went very well. Nice having our own place to have people over. Lots of room and a fairly decent place to entertain. Now if  I can find some cash to finish the basement, I would be laughing.  Thanks to everyone for coming over! I hope you all had as much fun as Shannon and I did.

Last weekend Shannon, Jim_, and I went to Pennsylvania to visit Alicia and her family. We had an awesome time. Jim already did a mondo right up on the whole weekend, so I will leave you with a link to his write up J Lazy, yes. Yes I am.  Pictures will come eventually. I have lots. I just need to sit down and create a gallery. They are HERE in the html free version.

I got an interesting email from a place Shannon and I visited earlier this summer. The place is called Better Image Autobody Artists. They do some awesome work. We stopped in due to THIS bright, freshly painted orange beauty parked out side their shop. I was sold!  I’m really hoping we can work up some sort of deal to get my beetle painted. They are likely going to cost a bit more then I want to pay, but in the end, I think it would be worth it. Now if I can just get them to work out a longer term payment plan, we may be able to do business. If anyone is looking for a decent shop. Send JOSH and email and he will hook you up! Tell him Jamie with the 74’ beetle sent ya! (Josh if you are seeing this, imagine the sales pitches I could do for you if you can actually help a poor brotha out!

Last but not least, I would like to say we warm welcome back to Kevin. As some of you may remember, Kevin fell into what is know as the X-Zone a couple years ago. X-zone was actually named after him. (xtacy). It is when people simply disappear from the face of the earth for a longer then normal period of time like Kev did. I won’t get into any details, but I can say that everything is cool with the world once again, and I for one and very glad to have a friend back.

Enough of this lovey shit. I’m outtie.

Guess where I was last year on this day? Getting married. I can’t believe its been a year already. It’s gone so fast, we haven’t even got the photos developed from the photographer yet J Truth be told, we only submitted the proofs for printing last month. Hey, I’m lazy and slow. Suck it up.

Anyways, it has been a fantastic year. Everyone always told me that the first year of marriage is the hardest. These people we obviously not talking about my wife. If this year was difficult, the rest of our lives together will be a breeze. And I for one am looking forward to it. I heart you jackass.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! 29 years ago today my mom was born. Give or take a couple years ;-). Hope you have a great day. Shannon and I will see you soon.

Also, some other birthday wishes go out to Aunt Val, Adam Wybenga, Mary-Jane, Cathy, Aunt Barb, Allison, and if I missed you, I’m sorry as I am just going off the top of my head

Next up: WELCOME BACK Jordon. Glad you are finally home. It was really good to see you last night. We had a good time at the BBQ (thanks Jeff and Cathy BTW). Nina, thanks for sticking by me last night while our significant others were…. Being…. Well. You know how they were. It’s nice to see them getting along again

Nevada Bob has started moving her stuff to her new place in Welland. For those who don’t know, she has moved away to go to school. Congrats Bob, we know you will do great.

No Bug reports to post. I haven’t been able to make it to the body shop in Grimsby yet to pick up a Por15 kit. Hopefully soon, so I can get to work seriously on this thing. Once school settles in, I will have more ambition. Last few weeks, I haven’t wanted to do anything.

Work has been stupid busy for the past week or so. Things with a certain individual have quieted down finally. At least for now. I still would like to punch him in the forehead, but I just don’t have it in me. St. Johns is at a point where the boss is happy and the school can start up Tuesday without any real problems. I’m sure things will show up next week or so, but at least we have a solid base to start with. Next week will be fixing problems there, and also finding out what broke over the course of the school year.
