Happy leap day everyone. I figured having this extra day this month, I should do something productive, so I put up an boatload of pictures for everyone to look at. Go to the PHOTO Album page and go through the days at the bottom  and you will be able to watch our holiday as we lived it. Yes, I know some days are missing, those days were in the flea markets etc. Essentially days with little or nothing to see.

I would like to start out by saying thank you to my Grandparents, without whom this trip wouldn’t have been possible. They were kind enough to let Shannon and I come and stay with them for 5 nights at their condo in Cape Coral Florida. Shannon and I had an awesome time with you guys, even though you wore us out. Us old folks are used to walking that much. I still say with the amount of walking you two do around Florida. you could easily walk home in 2 weeks. Thank you both again very, very much. Also, thanks to Uncle Jim for taking us in the boat. It was a blast.

Details? Ask me sometime, I’m not getting into them all here. We did more then I could type. Essentially, if you look at the photos,  you will see where we went, and what we did.

Also, a big thanks to my Family for looking after our puppies while we were away.  I wouldn’t have felt comfortable leaving my babies with anyone but you.  Also, thanks to Donna and Alex *and whoever else took photos of the house construction while we were away*.  Speaking of which HERE Are the current photos of our house in its construction stage. Coming along nicely I must say. 2.5 more months, and hopefully we can move in

Finally thanks to Kyle for lending me your camera. It did an excellent job. I will bring it back next time we are all out.

That’s enough post for me. I’m heading to bed. 20 hours straight driving is a bit tiring. Night all. Glad to be home.

Busy day today. Alex, Foxxxy, Kyle, Melanie, and me went to Toronto for the 2004 Auto show. We had a great time. Very tiring. LOTS of walking and LOTS of PICTURES.  Unfortunately Shannon opted to stay home and prepare for our trip.  It needed to be done. Was sad. As much fun as we all had, I couldn’t stop thinking  how much more fun it would have been had she came.

This evening I ran out to St. Catherine’s to pick up some of my suspension. Got everything in but the sway bars. Alicia or Jim are gonna bring them up on one of their next trips to/from the USA. Hopefully I can find the money to get it all installed shortly after we return from Florida. I’ve vowed not to put it on till the Visa is paid off again, so that is my incentive to save 🙂

Two days till we leave for Florida. I can’t wait. Sleep time. Must rest

Well, Shannon and I are bad parents. As I’m laying in bed last night I think to myself, “the puppies birthdays are coming up soon”. And then it dawns on me. We missed them. Chewie turned two on January 31st, and Bekka turned two yesterday. So I’m not totally bad, just a quite a bit.  I’m sorry babies. I forgot, and if it makes you feel any better, I feel horrible.

A week till Florida (as if I didn’t feel bad about missing their birthdays, now I’m leaving them behind for 10 days). Argh. Upside is, temperature is hovering in the 26-29degree range. And NO there is no minus sign in front of it. That’s right. WARM WEATHER. I’m excited and ready to go.

Almost caught up on work orders. If I keep my head in the game this week I should be able to have a clean slate before leaving. That would be excellent. That way, when I get back I will only have to deal with the backlog of things which broke while gone, and not have to deal with old work orders. And then its only two weeks till March break, so I should be able to catch up again.
